What could be better than a trunk full of Sea Sherilyn Sew and Sew Kind of Wonderful designs, beautifully custom quilted by Sherilyn Mortensen?
Sherilyn Mortensen has spent the last 20 years enjoying some form of quilting. In the past 7 years her interest, skill level and passion for quilting has tremendously increased with the wonderful addition of free-motion/long-arm quilting. She took to free-motion quilting very quickly and easily. Her QUILTY pleasures and passions include free-motion quilting for herself and clients, pattern designing and teaching. She enjoys her association with Gammill as one of their talented quilt artists. After spending a few years designing patterns with her sister’s at Sew Kind of Wonderful, she decided to start her own business, Sea Sherilyn Sew but still enjoys working and collaborating with her talented sisters. Sherilyn lives in beautiful Tyler, TX. She and her husband raised their 3 children in warm and sunny Central Florida. She still has plenty of sand between her toes and the ocean is definitely her happy place! Hence the “Sea” in Sea Sherilyn Sew. She also spent time living in beautiful Colorado’s Western slope and the gorgeous Cache Valley in Utah. Life as a wife, mother, grandmother, friend and quilter brings her the greatest joy!
